Barn Hunt

Is your dog obsessed with squirrels? Does he need an outlet for his pent-up energy?

Are you just looking for a fun and different activity to do with your dog?

If you answered yes to any of these, then Barn Hunt is for you!

This growing dog sport allows dogs to safely use their nose to search for and find rats hidden in a straw bale maze.

Rats are handled and hidden safely in specialized, bite-proof containers by your instructor. Dogs only have protected contact with our healthy, bred-for Barn Hunt, pet rats.

Our rats love working with the dogs and have been trained for this work since they were babies! They are beloved pets and very well cared for under strict Barn Hunt Association rules.

Learn about preparing for competition or just come and play for fun!

Dogs must be able to handle confinement in a crate or properly equipped vehicle between turns.

Proof of DHPP and Rabies are required.

Intro to Skateboarding for Dogs

$165, 3 weeks - 1 Hour Sessions

Have you seen videos of dogs skateboarding and thought, "I wonder how to teach my dog to do that?" well now you don't have to wonder!

We have created a class specifically to help teach your dog to be comfortable getting on and riding a skateboard.

Who would do best in this class?
Dogs who are comfortable working around other dogs, especially dogs who are moving.

Dogs who are closer to the ground will have an easier time but that doesn't mean larger dogs cannot also be successful!

Dogs who are comfortable on weird and wobbly surfaces!

Who would not do well in this class?
Dogs who are reactive to either other dogs or humans. (private lessons for skateboarding are a great alternative to a group class)

Dogs who are nervous about the movement of other dogs or surfaces uneven or shakey below them.

There is a limit of 4 dogs per class to ensure everyone has adequate room to learn & practice!

We are currently asking our clients to please wear masks during any indoor portion of our classes.  We also ask that you limit those who attend class to those who are actively participating in training and who can remain quiet during class.
