As a child my dad had hunting labs that we would help train for retrieval, diving for retrieval, and all the basics that any good lab ought to know. As I got older, we had various other dog breeds such as Dalmatian, Lhasa Apso, Poodle and finally, German Shepherds!

As an adult I ventured into the world of mixed breed dogs and am now the proud caretaker of two adorable mixes. Argos, 11 years old and still going strong, is an akita/gsd/chow/border collie mix who acts like none of those and Bila, 4 years old and full of vinegar, my heeler/auss/beagle/pom who acts exactly like all four!

After Bila and all the heelers I've met in New Mexico, I've fallen head of heels(lol) for the australian cattle dog. I look forward to many more adventures with these Absolutely Cool Dogs. I enjoy teaching dog sports and hope each of my students discovers a sport they would love to participate in!
