Dog Sports Sampler

Curious about dog sports but not sure which one is right for you? Come try a little bit of everything!

This fun, low-pressure sampler class gives you and your dog the opportunity to explore six different dog sports, with a new sport introduced each week. You’ll learn the basics, try some introductory exercises, and get a feel for what you and your dog enjoy most.

No previous experience is required. Whether you have a seasoned sport dog or you’ve never tried a dog sport before, this class is designed to be fun, accessible, and rewarding.

Each Week We’ll Explore:

🐾 Week 1: Agility & ParkourLearn the foundations of navigating obstacles, building body awareness, and encouraging your dog to confidently interact with their environment.

👃 Week 2: NoseworkDiscover the fun of letting your dog use their incredible nose! We’ll introduce searching skills and simple scent games that tap into your dog’s natural abilities.

🎯 Week 3: Fenzi TEAMExplore the TEAM training program, which focuses on precision, teamwork, communication, and foundational skills. You’ll see how everyday training can become a fun and challenging sport.

⭐ Week 4: TricksFrom simple behaviors to creative combinations, tricks are a fantastic way to build communication, confidence, and a stronger relationship with your dog. You may even discover that your dog has a hidden talent!

🔎 Week 5: Lost ItemTry your hand at a practical and incredibly fun searching sport where your dog learns to locate specific lost objects. This introduction will give you a taste of the skills used in Lost Item competitions.

🏅 Week 6: RallyPut your teamwork to the test! We’ll introduce the basics of Rally, where dog and handler navigate a course of signs while performing a variety of obedience exercises together.
